The 1996 Gators were the schools first National Champion after 90 years of playing Football. This Gator team much like the 1995 version, featured a high octane passing attack led by all everything QB Danny Wuerfful. The description of the 1995 team pretty much matches the 1996 team, thus we run the two of them in back to back places on the same day. This team won the Championship unlike the 1995 version, but many will debate which team was actually better. This team won big road games versus Tennessee and Arkansas while beating Bama in the SEC Title game, before pounding FSU in the Sugar Bowl.

I think this team was the only team to ever score 50 points in the same season at all home games in like the last 40 years too.
