Malcolm Grant the Hero of Villanova's comeback vs LSU transfers to Miami

The news continues to get better and better for Frank Haith's Miami Hurricane team. Malcolm Grant whose second half performance earlier in the year versus LSU led Villanova to an epic comeback in the final five minutes is transferring to Miami according to Scout.com. Grant is a point guard who wasn't going to beat out Scottie Reynolds for the starting job, but has the quickness and shooting touch to fit right in as a replacement for Lance Hurdle in the 2009-10 season. What this does to the Hurricanes recruitment of Kenny Boynton is anyone's guess. With Eddie Rios and now Grant aboard the Canes appear to be set at point guard for the foreseeable future.
