Former Cane TE and current Buffalo Bill, Kevin Everett was seriously injured in an NFL game Sunday. Everett, who signed with Miami out of high school but failed to qualify kept his commitment to The U when he graduated Junior College unlike so many other non qualifiers. He has emergency spinal surgery last night and I join all Canes fans in wishing him a speedy and full recovery. We should know in the next few days whether Everett will suffer from paralysis.

On ESPN they said it is "highly unlikely" that Everett will ever walk again. Kartik, do you know if UM has set up any kind of fund for him?
