Disaster In Atlanta: Canes Bubble Bursts

For the third time in five years Miami has blown a chance down the stretch to get into the NCAA Tournament and will be headed to the NIT.

Miami lacked intensity from the beginning tonight against a woeful Georgia Tech team and Lewis Clinch scored 30 points before being injured. Miami's season is now effectively over unless the team can win the ACC Tournament which is terribly unlikely.

With bubble teams losing all over the country we are reminded why they were on the bubble to begin with. Miami, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Georgetown, etc have all proven that sometime teams with high expectations that underachieve don't deserve to be in the tournament discussion.
