Rios Suspended Again

Backup point guard Eddie Rios has been suspended for the second time this season by Coach Frank Haith. Rios did not make the trip to Chestnut Hill to face Boston College. Rios, a local fan favorite is a sophomore out of Chaminade Madonna H.S. in Hollywood. Before that Rios played at Miami High.

With Villanova transfer Malcolm Grant and top 30 national recruit Durand Scott ready to split the point guard duties next season, Rios may be looking to transfer. Dennis Clemente the former UM point guard who was basically asked to leave the program by Frank Haith has done well at Kansas State under former Miami High caoch Frank Martin. Perhaps that is a potential destination for Rios.
