Randy Shannon doesn't play favorites or play games when it comes to discipline. Starting QB Robert Marve has been suspended for the 2nd time this season and will not be with the team when it plays Cal in the Emerald Bowl, December 27th. The Miami Herald reports that Marve was 15 minutes late for the final day of his English class. By showing up late for class, Marve was marked as absent and has therefore been suspended under the University's attendance policy for athletes because he missed more than four classes in the fall semester.
Jacory Harris will start the bowl game. More on this developing story as it becomes available.
