Chuck Amato Rejoins the Florida State Coaching Staff
After losing four times in six years to Chuck Amato's NC State team, it's no surprise Bobby Bowden brought Amato back to Tallahassee. Florida State has made the biggest splash this off season with coaching hires while new Miami Head Coach Randy Shannon continues to bumble and stumble all over the nation trying to find any live body to fill out his staff. Amato will hit the recruiting trail this week and expect FSU to quickly climb up the recruiting rankings. If anyone is interested in applying for the Miami Coach Staff, leave a message in comments and we'll make sure we pass it on! (Just joking of course, but Dirk Koetter's decision to go to the NFL has left UM's staff in disarray. )

If You Can't Beat Him...................Hire Him!

If you think Amato's joining FSU is really going to enhance their recruiting, you are gravely mistaken.
Its not exactly the begining of the recruiting season and after FSU's dismal season, do you honestly think a big-name high school senior is going to want to go to a team with more uncertainty than a weather forecaster?
With UF's NC, expect another win-fall of top recruits. UF already has a large number of recruits already enrolled and with a coaching staff fully intact, why go to FSU? Then again I could use some free shoes.
Where did the money come from to hire Amato?
Kind of spits in the face of the Alumni that had to buy out Jeff's contract.
If I were a booster, I'd like to know how come my money had to be spent rather than the University doing the buy-out and letting me contribute to a new coach instead of buying the old one.
FSU is putting a band aid on its broken legs.
I would like to coach with Shannon in Miami. Where do I apply?
