The same night Florida won its first National Title (in fact the first by a team from the state of Florida although FSU and Jacksonville have previously reached the title game) Miami continues to get bad news. ESPN's Andy Katz reports that UM Coach Frank Haith is the front runner for the Oklahoma job and that his name is coming for the open job at NC State as well, although he is currently a longer shot for the Wolfpack opening. Miami spent $3.2 million to buyout the contract of terminated Head Coach Perry Clark and that has prevented the Hurricanes who have won a surprising 15 ACC games in their first two league seasons a raise or a long term contract. Frank Haith is a hot commodity and soon we may learn how seriously the Miami Athletic Department takes Basketball. This job after all was perhaps the only job in country which was sought by both John Calipari and Rick Pitino several years back (When Leonard Hamilton left for the NBA), but Miami choose Perry Clark in what was a conservative hire, that ultimately led to the collapse of the program from a high national level.

He isn't that good a coach. Miami basically had us on the ropes late in that game and yet the offense for them didn't flow. With a 5 point lead they were taking quick shots rather than moving the ball around. Then when Humphrey made 2 3 pointers to give us a lead Miami failed to use a timeout. By the time Haith did use a timeout we were up by 10 with a minute to go.
Now obviously Billy has like ten years as a head coach on Haith but that to me was a clear game where the teams played pretty even and coaching won the game. Edge to Florida, the National Champions! The loss goes to Miami whose still paying millions to a total bumbling moron, Porky Pig who is the ex-coach.
I am having a hard time believing that "jill" is a woman. As thrilled as I would be to learn that news, it would also be quite shocking.
"jill's" knowledge of sports is almost man-like and should this be some sick joke or transgendered ruse, I will sick the Clones on you!
