Big win for the ACC, and for FSU whose fans fer the worst about this year's team.
FSU will be lucky to even make the ACC Tournament of 8 teams. The ACC is stacked this year with Clemson, UNC, Miami, GA Tech, etc. FSU is not a good team.
Anonymous,
UNC lost their No. 1 and No. 2 arms -- so they will definitely struggle.
Clemson should be solid with D'Alessio coming back. Ga. Tech is always solid.
Miami needs to find an arm for late in the agame. Last night a freshman blew the lead in the ninth inning giving up 2 runs and getting the loss against Mercer.
Of course, this is all very early in the season.
BTW, Posey behind the plate might gain him a decent draft position. We know he can hit, but how is he going to handle himself behind the plate?
FSU has a long way to go before anyone can crown them anything. They have a lot of cream puffs post-Tennessee, but so far so good. If they can keep hitting the ball, watch out ACC. 44 runs in a weekend (against UNCA) without a home run is pretty impressive.
