Charlie Ward weighs in on Election Season

Charlie Ward has recorded a taped message for backers of Amendment 4, which will dedicate 15% of settlement money from then state's lawsuit against the Tobbaco industry to anti-smoking programs for kids. (In the interest of full disclosure I am involved in the pro Amendment 4 effort but am not involved with the Ward calls)

In the ad Ward says: "Whether you root for the Seminoles, Hurricanes, Gators or someone else, there is something everyone in Florida can agree on. The need to keep our kids smoke free."

cigarettes give us a reason to visit the Indian reservation.

If the kids dont smoke cigarettes, then they are all going to be smoking dope.

Charlie Ward isnt even from the state of Florida. And how come he has something to say now when we havent heard shit from him since 1993?

Yes, kids shouldnt smoke. However Charlie Ward is the furthest thing from an active role model that we have.

But since there is politics in here now... who is the better option in Georgia? Chicken boy and his back-woods ways or the Dem candidate... who is fatter than col. Sanders?

IMO both candidates suck, and voting my party is going to be tough when the platform is weak, and nothing positive will come from it.

Charlie Ward is the best thing to ever come out of Florida St. He is a class act and has been playing basketball the past 11+ seasons.

Perdue is up 13 in the latest Zogby poll and Dems are fleeing fom fat boy in droves. Safe bet to be with Perdue. He's a country boy but not a rock ribbed conservative like so many GA Republicans.

I jokingly said (before seeing any of the Demsocratic ads) that I was going to vote for the thinnest candidate. Not a real smart strategy but since my choices are rather crappy, it was scientific enough for me. However, I think its time for change... besides, I like Butterball better than Perdue.
