Miami Coach Larry Coker will hand out suspensions according to sources this morning. Stay tuned. Coker to his credit is a disciplinarian and he will not put winning above doing the right thing. Let us see if Don Strock and the lawless FIU program do the same, or if their President who hates the University of Miami so much gives the eight ejected FIU players a "that a boy!"
UPDATE: Anthony Reddick, Brandon Meriweather, James Bryant, Derrick Morse, Bruce Johnson, Charlie Jones, Chris Barney, and Carlos Armour HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED FOR THE DUKE GAME NEXT WEEK BY LARRY COKER. These suspensions leave Miami depleted in the secondary but contrary to my previous thoughts don't really affect the rest of the team. Chris Zellner will likely replace James Bryant at H-Back and Randy Phillips will be back in the starting lineup at corner.

Miami should forfeit the rest of their season or the NCAA should put them on probation for 1 year and lose all scholarships for each player that left the bench!
I am hearing Miami will suspend 11 players for Duke, and 8 for GA Tech and Va Tech. The season is better of cancelled to make a point to the players and media rather than to lose the next 3 games for sure due to suspension. I agree with Kartik.
Folks, please keep the racially charged posts off the board. I know the Miami-FIU tension and fight had clear racial undertones as everyday life in Miami tends to have these same undertones, and FIU and Miami tend to draw from different ethnic groups for their student bodies and fan bases. But we don't want this to be like Glasgow when the Rangers-Celtic game turns into a religious war, nor like the violence between Croats and Serbs when Patrizan Belgrade plays Dynamo Zagreb.

Any word from FIU? Of course not! Those punks thought they could waltz into the OB and take us down! Well we showed them! Sadly our season is done also because of all these suspensions.
We did the job last night! Why should anyone have been suspended that we didn't eject. We do the job every night!
My understanding is that these suspensions are indefinete, meaning most of them are likely to miss Ga Tech also.
