Vindication for me, and other thoughts

For the last year I have been harping on how un-miami like the Hurricanes have looked, even when they were winning. After all, I have watched just about every Miami game since 1981 and have a great understanding and appreciation for what makes the U the U. Those posters who constantly criticized me on this blog and labeled some pro-FSU propagandist, either do not have the historical appreciation for Miami's achievements that I do or are just flat out delusional. When I say things are going bad with Miami, even after wins I mean it because I know the Hurricanes better than any other team in sports. You have to trust my judgement about the Miami program, and ever since the loss to North Carolina in 2004, I have felt the program was collapsing. When the Hurricanes were 8-1 last season and ranked #3 in the nation I still sounded the caution alarm because the team was un-miami like even though they were getting by with band aids somehow. You can go back and look at my old posts. I have felt this program was in a free fall for a long long time, yet so many Miami fans continued to drink the Paul Dee/Larry Coker/Kyle Wright kool aid served up by our local media outlets and ABC/ESPN Sports.

Bob Griese today described this as rock bottom, but it is far from rock bottom. This is the season that Miami WILL LOSE to somebody like Duke, F.I.U. or Houston. I'd bet my life on it. (F.I.U. especially is looking like a good bet to win at the OB October 14th because the game actually means something to them) Besides, the effects of Miami's really bad recruiting classes have yet to be felt. The next few years I believe Miami will struggle to finish .500. At least Ron Zook could recruit. Larry Coker cannot! Miami used to do things like Florida State has done tonight: block three kicks and return two for scores. But these days Miami can't even get the number of players in the huddle correctly or pick up a blitz! Right now Miami is being dominated in the trenches like never before. The players have no confidence, let alone a swagger. And the team has been stripped of personalities and leaders because Miami which all of a sudden is image conscious has taken any sort of edge or attitude out of its players, and those who do show attitude are suspended or kicked off the team. This is not a new problem, but is something that has been ongoing during the Coker years.

This team is a complete and utter disgrace. All the Coker supporters would always point to how much class this team had, even during the losing. So I wonder how those people would explain jumping around on the logo before the game. That was so painfully fake...these players/coaches dont deserve to have that U (with all its tradition and pride) on their helmets. I move to YANK THE U OFF THE HELMETS!!! This team has no heart...its a disgrace to former players.

Kartik, how are you vindicated when your Florida State team lost in equally embarrasing fashion tonight?

So you were right about Miami but DEAD WRONG ABOUT FLORIDA STATE!!!!!!! SO YOU ARE 50%. THAT'S IT.

Coker is being fired in a press conference at 3pm tomorrow per my sources. Can you confirm?

Also, Matt you are whacked! Get a grip. The program has collapsed. We've gone from being one of the most dominant teams ever in College Football to being one of the worst teams in one of the worst leagues in America in just a few short years.
