- Georgia Tech's option attack continues to look more impressive as the season goes on. Looking for a team to keep an eye on the next few years? This is it.
- Florida State was impressive in blowing Miami out of the building in the first half. The fluke weather induced second half comeback by Miami was meaningless and should not be interpreted as a sign of weakness for a very good FSU team or a sign of strength for a very very very bad Miami team. FSU can run the table and enter the ACC title game 11-1. Will they? Perhaps not, but given the Noles play this season I do not see many more losses on the docket.
- Clemson wishes they had Miami on the schedule this year: that would ensure a league win.
- Al Groh did one heck of a coaching job picking up his downtrodden UVA team and getting them to play big against a Maryland team that was surging.
- Wake Forest has issues with its offense: the gimmicks have been figured out by opposing defenses, but Wake's defense is so strong that winning the ACC is once again a real possibility.
- I'm still not sold on North Carolina and believe Notre Dame will beat them this weekend in Chapel Hill.
