- Miami's current ACC losing streaks: 4 consecutive games at home, 5 in a row overall. If this was any other school their games would be relegated to Raycom or to Public Access Cable. But Miami is the U and ABC/ESPN continue to show what is essentially a losing team and a losing program.
- Frank Beamer is a great coach no doubt but his decision to start Sean Glennon over Tyrod Taylor in the first game against ECU may have cost the Hokies a shot at the title.
- Clemson is in deep deep trouble.
- Ralph Friedgen's team which looked so terrible in the first two weeks of the season is now on a roll and potentially the new front runner in the Atlantic Division.
- Duke is going to be a factor in the Coastal Division. It is possible the Blue Devils are the second best team in the division. North Carolina and Georgia Tech both have issues and Miami and Virginia just flat out stink.
