Big Get for Haith in Michigan

Frank Haith has achieved a major recruiting break through for the Hurricane Basketball program in the Detroit area. Donnovan Kirk, a power forward from Country Day High School hails from the same program as Chris Webber.

The Hurricanes beat out among other schools, Michigan State to secure Kirk's commitment. From a national recruiting standpoint this is a huge "get" for the Miami program. Gaining a major commitment from a player in Tom Izzo's back yard who was recruited by the Spartans is huge statement nationally about Miami's ability to get commitments from players outside of ACC country.
