It's The Most Wonderful Time, of the Year

The new year can only mean one thing – baseball season is ready to get into full swing.

I don’t care what they say about Christmas being the most wonderful time, for a baseball fan this is the most wonderful time.

With a new season comes a new poll. For new readers, the only poll I trust and use throughout the season is the poll provided by the writers at Collegiate Baseball. Baseball America plays favorites with some schools and tends to skew its rankings toward said schools.

They recently released an expanded poll, the Top 40 teams in the 2007 preseason, and here it is.

I will break down the poll in 10s, so 1-10 will be by the end of the week, 11-20 will be next and so on and so forth.

Jorge, you like Kartik just don't get it. FOOTBALL, not Baseball and Basketball is what people want from this site.

Anonymous,

What you don't get is that we won't pigeon-hole ourselves like other sites.
