- Minnesota's decision to fire Glen Mason is probably the worst decision by a school in D1 since Ole Miss fired David Cutcliffe. Mason built a competitive Big 10 team from a heap of trash that was given him when he took over. Minnesota will long regret today's decision.
- ESPN is reporting Dirk Koetter who was at Miami practice Thursday and Friday will be named UM Offensive Coordinator this week. A very good hire for the Canes. Koetter got a raw deal from ASU, as did his predecesor Bruce Snyder. One of these days, the Sun Devils will realize they are not USC.
- Nick Saban would be a fool to go to Bama. He should bail on the NFL and the unrealistic expectations of the idiotic Dolphin fans, but Bama isn't exactly a safe landing with sane fans.
- Jimbo Fisher to FSU should be done as soon as Saban makes a decision not to go to Bama and LSU's bowl game is over.
- Ex Army Head Coach Todd Berry who called a pretty good offensive game in the MPC Computers Bowl for Miami is likely headed to FIU as Offensive Coordinator.

Raw deal at ASU? Sorry buddy, but you're talking from a very uninformoed point of view. His record against top 25 teams, as well as going winless in Pac-10 games in California over six years speaks for itself...
I think Koetter did get a raw deal to defend K for minute. They aren't the type of program they think they are in either major sport. That's why they have run throuh big name coaches in Basketball quickly as well. When will you guys runs off Sendek? A few years from now I bet. ASU is a joke. A second tier program, just like Minnesota.
Miami's offense did not have a well called game. They simply have a QB who is good on his feet and can make plays when under a pass rush. Put him on the Gators and we beat Auburn. He reminds me a bit of Tebow, a poor man's Tebow. How could you idiots start Kyle WRONG all year over this guy? No wonder you lost so many games! Last year if you start this guy you go 11-0 in the regular season, since both your losses were games you dominated but the QB lost you! Your new coach has an easy decision to make.
