Michigan does not deserve a shot at the BCS title. I have no doubt in my mind that they will be once again manhandled by Ohio State. Florida deserves the nod over Michigan. No question about that. However, I feel Louisville who had a tough slip up @ Rutgers but also has one loss despite some horrific injuries to top players deserves to be considered along with Florida as the team to face Ohio State. The one common opponent both Florida and Louisville played was Kentucky. While UK took UF deep into the 3rd quarter in a competitive game, UL finished the Wildcats off in the first ten minutes. Anyway, one thing is for sure: Michigan has no business playing for the title.
- Two years ago when I told some know nothing Miami fans at the Orange Bowl that Jim Grobe, coaching a 5-6 Wake team was the best coach in ACC I was told I was on crack. I wonder what those so-called fans think now?
- Southern Cal was teetering on the edge all year and today the tent collapsed. No shame though for them. It was a rebuilding year for the Trojans and they almost made the BCS Title game.
- Karl Dorrell will have a job next year in Westwood, although beating FSU in the Emerald Bowl will make his case even stronger.
- Rich Rodriguez's decision not to start Pat White tonight was mysterious. His status on the injury report has been questionable for 3 weeks now, but he has played through the injury to this point.
- Florida is the new Miami. They play hard defense and make big plays to win games, even if the style points weren't there. In the past Miami was hardly ever as talented as Florida State but they always seemed to beat them with timely luck and some real gusto. Unfortunately, UF is also like the old Miami in the trash talking department and with numerous off the field arrests over the past five seasons. (More arrests than UM, FSU and USF combined over the same period.) While most troublemakers were recruited by either Steve Spurrier or Ron Zook, Urban Meyer really needs to crack the whip because the national media has a built in bias against programs from the South and will be sniffing for stories now that the Gators have reached the top.

Florida ought to go. We haveb played the toughest schedule and have beaten everyone. Your comment about the arrests and bad behavior I hate to admit was spot on, but Urban is not recruiting those sorts of kids. That is a inherited legacy of the Zook years. It'll clean itself up. We have good bible touting kids like Tebow now.

So far as I know nothing EVEN CLOSE to the circus surrounding UF's "eligibility issues" (with regard to Thomas and Moss--that we know of) and the comical adjudication thereof has occurred this season at Michigan. While all bigtime programs "cut corners" here and there, there is a limit which most people, aside from our friends in G'ville, attempt to observe. Frankly, the explanations, variant versions, and outright contradictions surrounding these incidents at UF this season would not even pass the Clinton smell test.
What about Appliachian State? Now that they are not considered Div 1-AA, but Div 1, maybe they should be considered too after they win the national title again...
Louisville would slaughter UF. Too many big plays and too much speed......the Gators have gotten away with making mistakes and commiting dumb penalties against teams with less capabaility than the Cards.
UF has taken the road of the old Canes. They have adopted the gansta image and Urban seems to condone it. The drugs, guns and arrests will continue. Even recruits get arrested there while on visits...Watch, UF is the New Miami (only without the titles).
Percy Harvin had an amazing rap sheet when in HS including an arrest for stealing trophies from his HS. Yet the same Gator fans who call Miami players criminals without any evidence on this website are silent, about this and the other list of Gator arrests. I guess the gators recruit good black kids from strong christian homes while the Hurricanes are full of N&*$!s.
Your bias against Miami is amazing. You always can throw in the subtle jab, like "timely luck" with regards to the cominance of FSU through the years. And yet you claim to be a Cane Fan.
I am sure you apply the same standard Jim Rome to Willie Williams who was never heard from once in tow years at UM. You want to see Percy Harvin's rap sheet. A guy over at Renegad Report has it. Like 7 incidents! What about M. Thomas playing even though he had already tested positive. The point is you are a hypocrite for saying all the things you have about Miami and FSU when Florida has actually had more players get arrested WHILE AT FLORIDA THAN BOTH SCHOOL COMBINED OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS. But go ahead....keep dropping the n bomb under anonymous names to describe UM and FSU. You wonder why some of us hate UF.....because of asshole fans like you.
You only hate UF becuse they denied your admitance. Willie Williams was never heard from because he wasnt good enough to make the team. But perhaps you are correct and Florida should forfeit all of its games, remove football as a program, and apologize for slavery. Maybe then you will accept them as your master since obviously you are their little bitch already.

When you read or rather sound out the whole article rather than the first 4 sentences perhaps you will have some indepth information about the things you speak of. No one on the UF team swung a helmet or stomped on a player already lying on the ground. UF players arent pussys!
I want you to keep hating UF. Its good for you. It gives you a purpose in life. We all know you are one of those people that camped out for PS3 and have a Star Wars doll collection.
