Pata will be missed

Our condolences go out to the Pata family. What has happened is a great tragedy.

He was, along with Glenn Sharpe my favorite defenders on the team.

Pata will be missed by the fans, his teammates and his family.

From the SunSentientl article...

"UM is scheduled to play Maryland on Saturday, but a school spokesman said no decision had been made whether the Hurricanes would play the game or even practice today."

If Miami doesnt play Maryland its because they are scared of getting their asses kicked. Its a shame this kid is dead, but until proven innocent, I will assume he had something to do with it.

Why wasnt he living on campus like all athletes should?

A senseless tragedy. The ACC should postpone Miami's next game with Maryland.

The ACC doesnt need to do anything special for Miami. If they never did anything in the past for the "U"seless and the Big Least didnt do anything, then why now? Why should Maryland be forced to reschulde everything?

If you want it rescheduled, then play the game at Maryland at the end of the season. Miami doesnt make much from the OB. Not having to pay for all the police protection would be a huge cost saver.protection
