Wynn Questionable for Saturday's game VS LSU

DeShawn Wynn is listed as Questionable for the Gators game Saturday versus LSU with a twisted right knee. Coach Urban Meyer is fairly confident that Wynn did not tear any tissue but an MRI this afternoon will let us know for sure. If Wynn cannot play, expect Markus Manson to get the nod over Kestahn Moore who has been less impressive than Manson thus far.

Meyer, although a great coach, is surely not a medical professional.

Wynn aka Princess gets hurt more times than Dan Morgan gets concusions.

Wynn is not the be-all end-all running back at Florida. He is part of a crew that shares the task. Billy hands-like-tits Latsko was a Spring stand out at RB.

As long as Percy Harvin plays and the play calling isnt as Vanilla as it was on Saturday, look for LSU to be confused and manhandled up front come the 4th quarter.

Tim Tebow will line up at RB just to give LSU a reason to call timeout.

Jim Rome, you are joking right?

Wynn is not the be-all end-all running back at Florida. He is part of a crew that shares the task.

Who would you start instead? Manson? Moore? Latsko? No way.

Wyann has power and speed and considering the Gators o-line isn't the best I love him back there! In fact Urban Meyer lost us the LSU game last year by not feeding Wynn the ball when we were up 17-14.

WE NEED WYNN TO BEAT LSU.

I would start Manson, but would ahve no problem pulling ina freshman to mix things up.

As long as the O-line makes a hole, even Chris Leak can run for it. His 45-yard run was the longest of his career and I think he was surprised as shit to have a hole that big to run through.

Percy Harvin returns, Manson, Moore, Tebow, Latsko, and mix in a freshman. I would take all that over a guy that sits out a play due to grass stains.

Wynn was and is the "best of the worst." I cant recall his name, but 325 the little guy can surely play at RB. It would be like having a version of Warrick Dunn in the backfield and something LSU wont be planning on.

Why are you so down on Wynn? Starting with his very first game when he took the ball to house vs Miami in the Brock Berlin comeback game for UM, he has been solid and while he has battled weight problems he has produced. Both Zook and Meyer have tried to break him and put in other backs, but D. Wynn has peservered. He is one of my very favorite Gator players of this era. A bowling ball that knocks down all the pins!!!!!

I am not necessarily down on Wynn, just tired of his injuries seeming to hinfer our offense from really coming together.

I want to see 40+ points on the board and whenever he is out, the continuity just seems to fade.

RB is the one position we cant seem to have a plug and play rotation. Tebow could QB us with some success if Leak went down. Our receivers are almost all alike in talent (of course a few are better than others) and our lines arent half bad with our backups in.

But at RB, it seems as if there is a big drop off in production if Wynn doesnt play. IMO its more preception than reality and I cant stand mediocure results against teams like UCF and Kentucky. 19 point margin of victory is too small!!

LOL

I guess we disagree on Wynn's value. I love Wynn. He is one of my favorite Gators of recent years along with Faison. I guess I just like big bruising punishing running backs. That's why if someone asks me about Miami I say that McGahee and E. James are my favorites.

The other backs we have are all rotation type back. Wynn is not. He gives us something extra.

Found this to be kind of funny:

http://canesoverhere.com/

They are trying to get an NC liscense tag with a Miami Ibis on it. The University of Florida is the first university outside of the Carolinas that had enough interest to have the state of NC make a license plate for them. It takes a minimum of 300 paid people. You can see the gator one here if you care.

http://triangle.gatorclub.com/licenseplate.htm

I would like to see if Miami could get one. Let's face it, the more Florida schools that get on out of state license plates, the better we all will be for recruting. Looks like the Gators have the edge now.

God Bless

Florida will have a tag in Georgia within the next few months and I believe they also have on in Tennessee.

Anyone have the MRI results on Wynn?

I hope you guys smack those punks from LSU around. They think they are so cool because they beat our bad team in a meaningless bowl game which had no impact at all on the BCS picture. LSI is always so overated. I say Florida wins easily.
