Multiple media outlets (including Sun Sports, and WQAM, the flagship station of the Miami Hurricanes Sports Network) reported Saturday Night that the University of Miami Board of Trustees will have an emergency meeting tomorrow afternoon to determine the future of Head Coach Larry Coker.
However, on Sunday Morning it appeared these may have been erroneous reports. Miami fan websites like CanesTime.com which yesterday set a record for the Scout.com network in number of posts (and believe it or not the FSU Rivals site was second......people obviously post more when their teams lose) are blazing with rumors and speculation. However, over here we will do the responsible thing and wait for some credible media reports or sources that the trigger is in fact being pulled.
UPDATE: NOON SUNDAY
The Miami Sports Information Director states that no trustee meeting has been called and Coker's is still the Head Coach. With pressure obviously mounting from all sides it will be interesting too see if Shalala and Dee give him a vote of confidence or just let him hang until the ax falls. The argument in Coker's favor will be that he disciplines players and that Miami has by and large avoided the off the field incidents that have plagued schools like Ohio State, Florida State and Southern California. But of course those schools are winning and Miami is not.

I had heard a press conference is already scheduled. Can you verify that?
The better be doing this. they have to can his ass right now if we are going to salvage anything. Nobody is going to come here to play otherwise.
who cares... the players have already quit anyways.
Word to the wise, dont hire any Ron Zooks!
While these reports and rumors are floating around I cannot substantiate anything. I am just reporting what has laready been reported on air. For all I know they could be meeting about the weather in Coral Gables.
I too am hearing Coker will be fired Monday.
Over on Warchant.com on the Noles Football board a thread is running saying Miami has announced a press conference for Sunday. It was sourced to Sunshine Network.
Joe.....that is exactly what they are saying on warchant. "Miami does not tolerate losing, why shouuld we?"
Bobby like Paterno wont be fired... but a major surgery needs to be done to extract the Jeff Bowden cancer that is making FSU mediocure.
Coker on the other hand will be fired, but come on now.. who is going to step into his shoes for the rest of the season? One of the other crap-ass coaches that Miami has.
Cough up the dough alumni, its going to cost you. BTW, where is Willie Williams?
Did Dee have to go to all you can eat buffet today instead?
Good point jim rome on the UM alumni. It appears one of the stumbling blocks is the alumni wants to buy him out after the season so they aren't on the hook for his crazy salary this season.........Bowden on the other hand is golden with the FSU alumns who matter so he is not going anywhere.
Fighting Ibis, where have you been?
Why have you not called out Greg Olsen that freaking baggage from Notre Dame that Coker was stupid enought to take!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never take didly squat from Notre Dame!
Perhaps joining the ACC wasnt such a good idea after all.
fighting ibis has been neutered
COME ON ARSENAL!
Someone else on this board hates Man YOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
John Terry yoou are the man of the hour!
think about it... who else on here is actually watching FSC right now besides me?
Portsmouth is top of the table if Man Useless loses today...
Chelsea 1 - 0 Liverpool
p.s. Tiger Woods was sitting with Roman Abromovich as a personal guest of Shevchenko
You need to get Setanta Sports. then you would have seen Chelsea-Liverpool this morning and Drogba's wicked shot for the winner.
Check out this guys letter to Dee from the Canes boards over at Grassy.com:
Dear Paul,
Please find enclose the remainder of my three season tickets as well as the stubs from the FSU and FAMU games. I can no longer in good conscience attend any further games as I believe my presence will be taken as support of HC Coker. As you will see my account with the Hurricane Club has been active for nearly 26 years with these season tickets in my name since 1986. I know this action on my part will have no bearing on the University's decision to part ways with Coach Coker, however I urge you to consider the depth of my disatisfaction when reviewing the state of affairs in the AD.
Please feel free to give these tickets to any less fortunate fan who may not be able to afford to attend the games.
Regards,
Bob Young
Hurricane Program Cannot Withstand Blitz
“I think the Miami program had their hearts ripped out,” said ESPN broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit - one of the Hurricanes’ biggest proponents before the season – after Louisville’s 31-7 trouncing of the ‘Canes.
Fans of college football, the team you saw against Louisville unfortunately was not the Miami Hurricanes as they deserve to be called. Unfortunately for ‘Cane fans, Nate Harris’ comments were disastrously accurate: in short, he mentioned the current ‘Canes were not the same program he grew up watching as a native Miamian. On what may be dubbed as Black Saturday for the ‘Canes coaching staff, college football fans watched a team pretending to be the Miami Hurricanes.
I read multiple articles and hundreds of opinions that cited Miami’s track record as underdogs. How many times was last year’s Virginia Tech – where Miami went into a hostile road environment and dominated – game mentioned over the past week? Truth is, as I replied to many of those comments during the week, this was a different Miami team – missing the players that made 80% of the tackles for loss on defense (representing the necessary attack mentality), and multiple veteran O-lineman that had progressed against the blitz during the season (representing the necessary foundation to withstand a blitz on the Hurricane program).
Louisville as a Microcosm of Spurts
“Well, we looked better than them at the beginning of the game,” said a Cane fan I spoke with immediately after the game. Essentially, this Louisville game was a microcosm of Head Coach Larry Coker’s tenure, P.R. If you’re wondering what “P.R.” means, it’s post-Reed.
The flaws at the core happened to show at the very beginning, in the midst of the program’s most dominant streak. Was Larry Coker, an assistant that ascended to the head coaching job at Miami almost through default, overwhelmed from the outset? The story goes that before the 2001 championship game against Nebraska – which Miami later dominated – Larry Coker seemed nervous, and was essentially reassured by 5th year senior captain Ed Reed. Contrastingly to Nate Harris’ recent comments, Ed Reed explained to Coach Coker that he should relax, “we’re Miami” – and Reed’s team went out and proved it. Ironically, we’ve come full circle.
The flaws the next year – P.R. – were apparent to some. Despite a future who’s who of NFL draftees, the Hurricanes consistently played down to their opponents. In the end, it caught up with them in the National Championship game, ending a dominating winning streak. Throughout the last 4+ seasons, the Hurricanes have shown a questionable product to its fans, through questionable attitude, intensity, and attention to detail. However, using last year’s Virginia Tech game as an example, the ‘Canes have stepped up to certain challenges when their “backs have been up against the wall.” And so they went to Louisville. They responded to Louisville’s Harris through the media. The Hurricanes came out talking about how they’d respond on the field like the ‘Canes of old: stomping their way to victory.
So how is this game a microcosm of Coker’s tenure, P.R.? The ‘Canes came out intense and focused, jumping out to a 7-0 lead, forcing a Louisville turnover, and driving the ball to Louisville’s goal-line. Unfortunately for the ‘Canes, they ran into adversity in the form of Charlie Jones’ lost fumble. Now, that fumble was not wholly emblematic of Coker’s tenure; the initial, yet brief, flash of dominance is the broad legacy that Coker’s squads have established. Realistically, there is adversity in every game, and generally in every season for a team. However, the manner in which the ‘Canes responded to adversity showed that this is not the Miami Hurricane program that was built on the “us against the world mentality.”
Essentially, a program that used to sharpen its teeth on adversity has been reduced to a shell of its former self. Words clearly do not transform into results; words lose their meaning quickly when there isn’t the corresponding action to back them up. Bluntly speaking, even the imitated swagger of old is meaningless if not backed up by the results that in fact created that now poisonous, imitation “swagger.”
Accountability
At this point, if it seems like I am perpetuating a certain level of negativity, allow me to be perfectly clear:
The time has come to push aside excuses, coachspeak, and the general rationalizations that have permeated this program, in order to forcefully bring forward an undeniable level of positive accountability.
The flaws at the core of this program are undeniable at this point. No, it’s not the sloppy loss to rival Florida State earlier this season or the appearance at Louisville that have made these flaws apparent. These two losses, to give the ‘Canes 4 losses out of their last 5 games, simply allow the hollow structure that is the Hurricane program to topple over and expose its cracked foundation for all to see.
The true mystique is gone. The unwavering “us against the world mentality” is now deeply latent, buried beneath layers of rubble. This Hurricane team reflects its leadership. No, these comments aren’t symbolic of a singular finger pointed in the direction of Head Coach Larry Coker; he is simply a product of weak decision-making in light of former player pressure. These comments are directed in the general vicinity of the entire ‘Cane leadership.
From top to bottom, if our goal, together, is to return to the dominance once enjoyed, full accountability must be restored. It begins at the top, where the leadership can act in a manner that will be reflected throughout the program. I’ve sensed doubt in the players, and the product on the field reinforces those perceptions. Unfortunately, it hurts me to see the players be hindered by those they look to for leadership.
This time around, the decision to choose a leader for this program cannot be made by the players – essentially a player blitz on the administration of a program that has recently shown to crack in the face of blitzes. This time around, in stark contrast to the program’s state of ascension that led to the hiring of Coach Coker, this is a program in a precipitous decline. Accordingly, we don’t need a temporary leader that can guide an already steaming ship. Rather, the Miami Hurricane program needs immediate eradication of its past mistakes.
Again, from top to bottom, a call for accountability is appropriate. It is only by immediate removal of the current flaws at Miami’s core that this program will be able to properly move forward. To the decision-makers of the Miami Hurricanes, the time to clean up the rubble of a once dominant program has arrived. The foundation is flawed but not destroyed. However, it should not be put in the position to withstand more unnecessary pressure. Bring us back our program. The first swift step is through an act of accountability that will bluntly acknowledge failure, and move forward toward attaining the leadership that we all deserve…especially our players.
well jim rome, Pompey is atop the table! Hell is freezing over as we speak thanks to Harry Houdini.
(Rome and I are obviously the only two EPL fans on this blog so we'll take our discussion somewhere else I guess)
A SCOUT.COM RECORD! THIS IS ONE THE REASONS I DESPISE MIAMI. THE HURRICANES SEEM TO HAVE MORE FANS THAN ANYONE INCLUDING THE GATORS AND NOLES BUT THEY ARE ALL ARMCHAIR FANS WHO SIT AT HOME AND COMPLAIN AND DON'T GET OUT TO THE GAMES. THEY FILL THE BARD TO WATCH MIAMI HOME GAMES. US GATORS GO TO THE GATOR HOME GAMES. BIG DIFFERNECE.
Why Larry Coker's Time is Up by Derrick Mustelier
This is the Miami Hurricanes' fall from grace:
13-8 in their last 21 games. 1-4 in their last 5 games against Division I-A teams. 5 consecutive losses where they've failed to score a single point in the second half. All fingers pointing directly to one man.
Head Coach Larry Coker.
Now I admit that I never was a fan of the "Fire Coker" bandwagon and I never jumped on it until very recently. I still think he's a solid football coach. However there are some key points about his coaching and moreso about his personality and attitude that seem to have trickled down into the Hurricane players and washed away the pride, confidence, and passion of a once respected program.
For starters, the University of Miami used to be one of the biggest hotbeds for new talent to rise into stardom. With the wealth of talent that is constantly flowing out of the state of Florida, Miami has always been there to scoop up it's fair share of blue chippers and mold them into stars. They were famous for it. Dozens upon dozens of prospects being drafted every year and flourishing in the pro style systems they had spent the last four years learning at "The U." Now think about it. Who is the last hot recruit you can think of who just couldn't wait to sign with the Canes and blossomed into an NFL star? Jeremy Shockey? Clinton Portis? Santana Moss? Moreover, what prospect from this (or even last) year's team can you think of who fits that profile? Maybe Brandon Meriweather. Maybe Baraka Atkins. Possibly Greg Olsen.
Don't get me wrong, for his part, Coker has brought in his fair share of talent. However, these are not the fabled Hurricane recruiting classes of yesteryear. These last few years, the talent simply has not been there and it has become painfully obvious these past two seasons--and especially these past 5 games. Hurricane secondaries do not get TORCHED like this one did Saturday against Louisville. Hurricane offensive lines do not collapse on tailbacks and quarterbacks like these ones did against Louisville, Florida State (twice, including last year's 9 sack nightmare), LSU, and Georgia Tech. Hurricane running backs do not get trampled by teams who stack 8 men in the box and rack up ridiculous numbers like 49 yards in a game...or TWO YARDS IN A GAME.
Before there was Coker, there was another man. A man who was given the reigns of a Dennis Erickson engineered trainwreck and the daunting task of getting it back on the tracks and steaming ahead once again. Butch Davis recruited quite possibly some of the best players to ever wear a Miami Hurricane uniform and was ousted before his time because he couldn't pick up the pieces fast enough for Paul Dee and company, leaving them unfulfilled. The 2001 Hurricanes were indisputedly one of the best teams to ever walk onto a college football field. The 2001 Hurricanes were Butch Davis's team. Larry Coker took the wheel of a car rocketing ahead at 100 MPH, wobbling slightly. And when he did, he very slowly began easing on the brakes.
As each year has passed since he placed his foot ever so gently on that brake, the Hurricanes have lost something else--something other than talent and something even more important than talent. Every year Miami has spent under Larry Coker, they've lost a little intensity. A little fire. A little fighting spirit. It would return from time to time for little sparkling moments when the doubt is at its loudest--last year's 27-7 plastering of then-No. 3 Virginia Tech comes to mind. But plain and simple, under Larry Coker, the Hurricanes are an underachieving bunch who stumble to losses against Georgia Techs, Clemsons, North Carolinas, and are crushed by real-deals such as Louisville and LSU.
Where did all that spirit and passion go? When was the last time you saw a Miami Hurricane team come from behind to win a game? There was a time when the 4th Quater was "our quarter." But Coker's Canes have now lost 5 straight in which they were shut out in the second half. Against LSU in the Peach Bowl, the Canes faced a daunting but surmountable 20-3 deficit at the half. Instead of engineering a spirited comeback, they tucked their tales, gave up 20 more points, and were held to ONE YARD of total offense. Against Louisville on Saturday, the Canes led 7-0 and 7-3 (forcing a field goal on a goal lind stand) in the second quarter and only trailed at the half 10-7 on a late score. Come out swinging? Surely you jest. The Canes gave up 21 points in the second half and the Cardinals pitched a shut out. Even in this season's opener against FSU, Miami had things under control until giving up 10 points in the 4th Quarter ("our quarter"). It was apparent even in the third, though. FSU had made adjustments. FSU was intent on coming out and fighting and winning. Miami was content with their insignificant lead.
It seems apparent that Coker's Canes are all heart when things go their way, but the second that momentum swings away from them, they bow their heads, play scared, and tuck tail and run. What this flaw boils down to in the end is Larry Coker's personality, intensity, and the way he carries himself. He has shown time and time again that he lacks any ability to make halftime adjustments. His lack of intensity and overall nonchalance as a football coach have seeped into his players and sucked out their fighting spirit so that now when you see a Miami team fall behind or lose momentum, you can expect them never to return or show an ounce of fight for the rest of that day.
I have been a Hurricanes fan and a sports fan for about 16 years (out of the 21 I've been on this earth...so a hefty chunk) and one of my favorite things about both (and certainly one of the reasons why college football is my favorite sport) is because of the passion of everyone involved--the fight and the desire to win which almost always ultimately conquers all. Saturday's 31-7 drubbing at the hands of Louisville was possibly my most depressing and embarrassing moment as a fan of all three of the aforementioned--perhaps tied with last year's 40-3 trampling at the hands of LSU in the Peach Bowl--not only because my favorite sports team was dismantled and embarrassed but because it finally dawned on me what was missing from Larry Coker's Miami Hurricane teams that made them play the way they played.
Kartik and Jim Rome......don't you have a soccer site where you can discuss whomever the hell pompey is and the EPL. This site is for the Gators, Canes and Noles I thought?
Are you saying that the UM admin. may keep him?
FIRE SHALALA AND DEE TOO THEN!
Coker has a weekly press conference on Tuesdays. This is not news.
No this is a UM press conference not a Coker one.
Guys don't get your hopes up. He always has a press conference on Tuesdays.
It is over for Coker. Just a matter of time.
How much longer can he twist in the wind..........
We have unreal talent right now! We are stacked two deep at every position and yet we suck!
That's coaching. This jackass never should have fired Don Soldinger. Look at our backs now......they cannot even pick up a blitz!
Coker needs to be fired. Hopefully it'll happen this week!
Check this shit out.......Miami and FSU are trying to become more "academic friendly institutions" and now are throwing football under the bus......WTF!
" I am a former academic counselor at the University of Miami. I was in this position from 1997-2004. I eventually left because of better opportunities at another institution. I will tell you this: I was not a big wig at UM, I did not attend major fund raising or booster meetings, but I did have the priveledge of attending "Academic Directional" meetings on a number of occasions. These meetings were desgined to plot the future of the academic programs at UM. And you have my word that out of the 5-6 of these get together I attended at least on 3 occasions the subject of how to deemphasize the UM football prgram was brought up. It was not acted upon, as even academic officials understand the cash cow the program is. However, there are numerous "potential" contingency plans on the table and in discussion about how UM can proceed to remain nationally visible and limit the importance of football at UM. Whether you want to believe it or not, and Omar if you want a big story to write you should be on this, there are VERY powerful individuals at UM who DESPISE the football program. They simplt cannot get over how corrupt the program was run in the 1980's and early 1990's. They believe that UM can never reach the institutional prestige that it can while the football prgram still plays such a big part. And to some extent they are right. If perception is reality, then many people around the country still thing UM as a college is a joke with a football team full of "retards." Even if that is not true anymore, the perception remains. The program that UM will increasingly try to emulate is the University of Virginia. Do not be surprised if Coker is retained after this season. UM cannot afford to buy him out and then higher a big name. If indeed Coker is relesed and bought out, UM will NOT be hiring a monster name in college football. Look for a career position coach to fill the void and increased academic standards for athletic recruits are also scheduled to be implemented within 3 years as I understand it. Great moves for the University, but perhaps not so great for the football team. Remember the conference they are in now, there is TREMENDOUS pressure from the Duke's, UVA, and University of North Carolina for programs like UM and FSU to change the image and become major academic institutions, not competitors for the NC. Just my 2 cents, don't shoot the messenger. But football at UM IS over as you know it and had nothing to do with losing to Louisville."
I agree with all the sentiments here on this thread.
Miami and Florida State cannot allow the hated Gators to rule this state. Either Miami needs to fire Coker or Bobby needs to retire. The status quo is unacceptable. One of the two must rise back up because I for one cannot take all these damn classless Gator fans who've never won anything bragging and rubbing it in.
Florida State and Miami are dynasties, whereas Florida is just a pretender program. But now we've let them steal our thunder.
Fighting Ibis, you are clueless about our lack of talent. The more you watch this team week in and week out the more glaring it shows what a poor job of recruiting Coker & company have done over the past 4 plus years. Our talent level of this roster is at the lowest point I can remember, across the board in almost every position other than safety. If we do have a talented guy at a position, we have zero depth behind him. The number of our guys slipping into the later rounds in the draft is the proof.
The ACC snobs are bringing down FSU and Miami. I don't want to believe it but somehow I can not dismiss it either.
It's past 3 pm. Any news?
No news?
Coker is not being fired today or on Monday so you guys need to just chill out. This will play out over the next several weeks. All of these rumors of a press conference and trustees meetings cannot be trusted. When we have something verified and legit we will post it.
Coker will be gone by Wednesday I hear.
The Canes are trying to stop Shannon from bolting to NC State so they will name him the head man this week replacing Coker goes one rumor.
Cane Fanatic.......please stop it with the gossip and other nonsense. Is Chuck Amato being fired this week? I think he has till the end of the year, and still faces Bowden who always gives him a win when he needs to save his job.
From the Urban Dictionary:
Cokerized 4 thumbs up
"To be overwhelmed with apathy. To lose confidence, vitality, and aggression, especially in the face of a heart-breaking loss."
I used to get ticked off when the Hurricanes would lose, but now I've almost come to expect it. I've been Cokerized.
"The argument in Coker's favor will be that he disciplines players and that Miami has by and large avoided the off the field incidents that have plagued schools like Ohio State, Florida State and Southern California. But of course those schools are winning and Miami is not"
FSU is winning?
We need him to stay! What other coach on the market has won a NC?
Coker will gone Tuesday.
Plus, they had no answers after falling behind — again. In Miami’s last seven losses, going back to Nov. 6, 2004, it has been outscored 79-3 after halftime, including 21-0 in the final two quarters Saturday.
Further proof of Coker's incompotence:
Frank Gore, SF vs STL
Rush: 29/130 TD: 1 (32)
Rec: 2/10 TD: 0
When did he ever get 39 carries with the Canes?
Further proof of Coker's incompotence:
Frank Gore, SF vs STL
Rush: 29/130 TD: 1 (32)
Rec: 2/10 TD: 0
When did he ever get 29 carries with the Canes?

Tampa Cane,
Did you really hear that or is this another hoax?
http://mb28.scout.com/fmiami20779frm1.showMessage?topicID=142720.topic
Do you think he gets an extension?
I heard from a reliable source that he stays the season and then gets axed before the bowl game if their is one.
Coker is one of the best coaches in the state, probably 4th best, right honey?
Some of us fans are still with you guys! Keep improving & getting better! I saw glimpses of what our new offense can be!
D.Jenkins: Great way to make sure & catch that ball before worrying about the YAC partner! Get well soon! Has anyone of our other so-called fans wished you a quick return, or they all mending their ego's?
Shields: Man you are all that! Everything that has been hyped! Your speed isn't fair to the other teams secondary!
Legget: Way to get physical son! I thought we had lost you totally! Way to prove the haters wrong!
K.Wright: Did you really just hit on the long ball? I can't believe it! I thought you were bust too!
To all of our RB's: One man at a time! Damn! I didn't know you all wanted to star in this offense. I'll take the one who plays the most consistent in practice thanks!
O-line: Your getting there guys! You have 5 wks until the brunt of the ACC schedule picks up! Let's keep getting better one wk at a time! You still have less sacks than the line last year & Fox is getting it done as a Freshmen!
Defense as whole: GD boys your nasty! Please just be patient with the offense! I know it's asking alot of you guys but they're coming along.
This is your time boys! Prove the world wrong once again! I know you have the talent! Put it all together & fight!
60 minutes of fight!
Cane Fanatic, The whole country throws our players under the bus & our fans led by you join in on the celebration! You all don't deserve to call yourselves Canes!
If our players don't like the way it feels when they lose then maybe they'll put together well executed drives & not screw the pooch in the redzone!
Were three weeks into the season & our own so-called fans have created nothing but tons of BS to deal with!
Our offense was overhauled & a true freshmen has been starting on our O-line! We are thin @ WR & full up on ego @ RB! All things considering you think our fans would look for a silver lining, but instead you all throw insult @ injury! Dumb MOFO's you all are!
You all will get what you wish for soon enough! None of you can think your way out of cardboard box but are all capable of running a NC caliber college football program? Wake the fuck up! If you support this good things will happen! The way we're going the Canes lose all there commitments because of our stupid a$$ fans!
Coker is not getting fired anytime soon, so the least we can do is embrace the team and get behind them!
Thats right, all you "Separation Saturday LOSERS," blame Florida. Go ahead, make up whatever you wish to believe, its all our fault! A conspiracy we have secretly been working on since 1996. The plan is finally coming together. Operation "Zooker" has finally worked!
Simply put, Miami had a dynasty when they were letting their athletes go to football instead of class. If Deion Sanders at FSU wasnt attending class, do you honestly think anyone at UM even knew where their class was held during the "dynasty years?"
If FSU had a dynasty, then Florida must of had atleast 2 or 3 of them. Aside from being in the national title game twice in 2 years, and winning the SEC championship... how can you say Florida didnt have one?
Miami is now realizing that they cant be the private willy nilly academic university they once were. The NCAA is making that loud and clear. Willie Williams was the last gasp. A dumb piece of shit with athletic talent and the mentality of a life-long felon.
The days when crime dodgers were given athletic scholarships is over. Thanks Donna Shalalalalal
If Coker wore police officer sun glasses, wielded a billy club or a shot gun and chained the ankles of all the Miami players together... they could win the NC every year.
ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
You sure are a tough talker Jim Rome. You can blame Donna Shalala for causing the stir, but we all know she is a football expert. That is why they hired her right? It is clear that once again the Gators are the best team in the state, but Miami has had some pretty tough opponents...except for FSU that got a beat down by Clemson. Louisville may contend for a national title if they can beat West Virginia. I'm not jumping on the "Fire Larry Coker" website just yet. I'll wait to see how the season pans out. For his sake, if they lose 2 more games, he is gone...I think they have enough talent to salvage it and I hope that they do.
He can certainly coach players, I just don't know if the recruiting ability is there for all positions.
God Bless
My question is when Miami and FSU are in the same conference, why is Miami's conference schedule so much more difficult every year? Why does FSU NEVER play GT or VT? Why does Bobby get all the breaks?????????????
St. Bobby has papal privileges.
and if it werent for FSU, the ACC would have remained a laughing stock for the past 14 years. thats why their schedule is, as you said it... "soft."
Playing Houston and Rice... those are some tough games!
Go Cougars!
Where are all of you dry cryers? I hear a lot of dry crying going on! Wah, Wah, Wah! Dry cry! Dry cry!
We're UM fans! Wah! This program owes us something! Wah! Why won't the program listen to us? Wah!
The sky is falling! Wah! Coker isn't a coach! Wah!
I've seen posters now calling for lack of institutional control on our own program! I've seen hire Shannon for the time being! I've seen Shannons D's are suspect now! I've seen every stupid thought our so-called fans can come up with!
You f%$king babies make me sick!
