A game that defined the Canes dynasty in so many ways. Having been disrespected before the game by the arrogant, insular thinking Texas Longhorn players and fans, this was a rude awakening to those who think Texas Football reigns supreme. This was also a farewell to CBS' run of covering top CFA games. CBS had its influence on Miami's emergence as the top College program in the nation, through some shrill commentary, but also due to the high number of Miami games CBS would show nationally. CBS made Miami desirable, even though they did nothing but trash us on the air.
A great trip down memory lane!

Great footage. Never gets old. A quick reminder that 'swagger' can't be fabricated. You have to be a great team first, dominate football games and win titles before you have that bounce in your step. You can't put the cart before the horse and just bounce around here and there and act like the teams of old. PLAY like the teams of old and the swagger comes with it. - Canes305
