Canes Picked Dead Last in Media Poll

The media that covers the ACC has spoken and they expect Miami to finish dead last in the league this season. I must say I am shocked by this. Coach Frank Haith is more upbeat about this Miami team than even his first two that flirted with NCAA births despite limited depth and brutal non-conference schedules. This team will be deep and doesn't face the sort of scheduling hurdles that those teams did. Incidentally the Sporting News College Basketball preview hit the newstands two weeks ago and picked Miami 8th in the 12 team ACC. That to me is a more accurate reflection of where this team stands in the big picture.
